Frequently Asked Questions

  • You can read them in chronological order starting with Blood and Silver, then Vanished, Moonstruck, Spellbound, and Bedeviled. Then read The Cutthroat King, which takes place between Bedeviled and book 5, Forsaken.
You can technically read Blood and Silver at any time, since it’s a prequel and isn’t required reading for the series to make sense.

You also don’t have to read The Cutthroat King as part of the series, as it is also a standalone, but it does contain spoilers and will provide good insight into what happens with the Covenant between books 4 and 5.

  • Not yet! Book 6 is in the works, but doesn’t have a release date yet. There may be a book 7, who knows?

  • Yes! I just don’t know when. But I promise to announce it whenever it happens.

Plus, Allie and Ronan could really show up anywhere, couldn’t they?

  • Although the setting has many parallels to the late nineteenth century, The Gweniverse is on an entirely different version of earth.

It would be considered a second-world Gaslamp Fantasy, much like Steampunk, but with magic instead of steam-powered tech.

Some of the same people, places, and religions exist in the Gweniverse that you find in our world, but there are many differences, and you can spot them if you read carefully ;)

  • Yes, which gets her in quite a bit of trouble. However, she is far from alone, even in our world.

Once of the main inspirations for Gwen’s personality is the indomitable Alice Roosevelt. She’s a fascinating person, and I suggest you look her up. You won’t be disappointed.
